In the first stop of this learning adventure, our CEO and star instructor Juan M.S. Clark will show us the roadmap to building a startup and to take it through the first steps of its life. We will start by describing the mindset needed for the entrepreneurship path, and distinguish this latter concept from intrapreneurship, which is the undertaking of projects within a corporation while behaving like a distinct company. Then you will be introduced to the Lean Startup, which is a methodology designed to shorten the development cycle of a new business, and to efficiently test its idea, thus saving time, effort and resources.

You will discover how to validate your product or service and your potential customer segments, among other things, so that you can quickly discard, change or improve your project, or go ahead with it. In the meanwhile, you will be learning how to lay out a Business Model Canvas, which is a flexible business plan template that incorporates all of these concepts. Finally, you will be exploring the different options for financing your project, with a stress in the Lebanese scenario. Take the first steps into giving birth to your project and put the engine rolling in the most efficient way!
