Among them, exponential ones (as their name implies) are evolving and inducing change at an especially dazzling speed. The Covid-19 crisis accelerated these processes even more dramatically. Maurice Mattar, at the helm of beauty products company Feel 22, is wholly aware that, now more than ever, staying behind is not an option.

In this interview with TLB, he recounts his experience on how his retail company had a head start by being already in the online arena when the bug struck since they had all the infrastructure and know-how available and ready. He also provides feedback on implementing exponential technologies with a scientific approach, while integrating e-commerce and online marketing activities to generate useful data for boosting sales.

Moreover, he elaborates on the way in which this empirical methodology is also valuable in finding the right marketing mix, and on why he prefers blending newer channels like social media and online influencers with more traditional ones like email.

Finally, he expresses how, for him, generating more traffic is a marketing priority, and how sales, in his view, is a metric that should reign supreme on the agenda. He makes a solid point, since attracting and adding more customers to your list is what, as an entrepreneur or as part of a business, your ultimate goal is.
